How to become a filer in Pakistan?

In Pakistan, a filer is an individual or entity registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and holds a National Tax Number (NTN). Filer regularly files their income tax returns with the FBR and complies with the tax laws of Pakistan.  Step1: Apply for an NTN

Step 2:fill out the registration form

To get your NTN certificate, you have to fill out a registration form. Fill out the form using your true credentials, including your name, address and your income sources.

Step3: get your NTN certificate

Once you have applied, you will receive an acknowledgment number. You will also receive a verification code through SMS or email. Enter the verification code to complete the registration process. After your application is approved, you will receive your NTN certificate via post within 7-10 days.

Step 4:file income tax returns

Once you receive your NTN, your next step should be to file your income tax returns. You can also do this online, or you will have to get the help of a tax consultant. You will have to provide details of your income, deductions, and taxes paid during the tax year. If you are an employee, then your employer will provide you with your tax slip which you can use to become a filer.
